My Nana (my mom's mom) made the best pecan pie EVER. No, really. It is the best. I have had her recipe for years, but just came across it a few weeks ago when I was sorting through a stack of recipes I had never taken the time to organize...and there it was. It broke my heart when my beloved Nana passed away in 2001, but she was alive for me yesterday as I made this pie and again today as I cut and ate a piece...and it was just as delicious as I remember. :)Happy Thanksgiving to you!
