Happy New Year! I thought I would start off 2009 with one of my favorite photos, this one of my African Sun Star also called the Star of Bethlehem or Ornithogalum. These beautiful and delicate blossoms are also very tiny and the plant only blooms for a month or so before dying back and gathering it's strength for the next seasons blooming. Still, when it does finally bloom, it is gorgeous and makes the wait worth while!May your 2009 be full of beauty. :)
